Although humans and animals differ in many ways, some recent advances in human medicine are also very useful in our veterinary patients. One of these advances include diagnostic ultrasound, which has proven to be a very powerful tool in veterinary medicine. We offer diagnostic ultrasound services as a means of providing a higher level of quality care to our patients. We also have the capability to send our images directly to board certified radiologists if and when we need to.
Pictured above is Dr. Ledesma performing an abdominal ultrasound on Kitty. Like Kitty, many of our patients DO NOT require sedation as this procedure is not painful or uncomfortable.
