The QUiet Waters Animal Hospital Team

Dr. Pablo Ledesma has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 25 years. His passion for animals began at a very young age when growing up on a large animal farm. Dr. Ledesma was born and raised in the Dominican Republic; this is where he met his wife at the College of Veterinary medicine. In the early 1990s Dr. Ledesma and his family came to the United States and have been living in South Florida ever since. Dr. Ledesma is the proud father of five children and seven grandchildren. He is also the proud owner of a Doberman named Kimba and a few kitty cats at home. 

Dr. Darian Ledesma developed her passion for animals and medicine after growing up working at animal hospitals and around both her veterinarian parents. She decided to attend veterinary school at Ross University on the island of Saint Kitts and completed her clinical year at the University of Florida. 

Since then, Dr. Darian has practiced in both general and emergency medicine. She is excited to be working alongside her father at Quiet Waters Animal Hospital where she can apply her skills doing what she loves and providing her patients with the utmost care.  

When Dr. Darian isn’t at work, she is spending time with her dog, Kimba, a Doberman Pinscher.

Sergio has been with us for the past 9 years. He is a licensed paramedic with a business administration degree but after completing his education he found he had a love for animals. He is the proud owner of a chihuahua named Nacho.

When I made the decision that I wanted to join the Quiet Waters Animal Hosptial team, Dr. Ledesma really took me under his wing and helped me invest myself wholeheartedly. Since then, I've been helping pet owners make healthier choices and living a healthier life with their pet. 

Danielle is Dr. Ledesma's youngest daughter, she has been working for Quiet Waters Animal Hospital since the age of 15. She knew early on in life she wanted to grow up and work in the vet space alongside her family. She has worked in all the support positions in the clinic. She oversees the Reception Team and helps with all departments when needed. What she loves most about her job is helping keep pets as healthy as can be, but she also cherishes the human-animal bond and views veterinary medicine as a path to also improving the wellbeing of the people around them! 

Helmuth has been with us for over 18 years. He graduated in Colombia with a degree in veterinary medicine. When he came over to the United States he began to work at animal hospitals as a veterinary technician.
